Frequently Asked Questions

What is a HOP?
A HOP (Handover Pack) is the compliance documentation that must be completed after every telecoms infrastructure job — tower builds, equipment swaps, rigging work, electrical installations, fault repairs and surveys. HOPstack AI automates the entire production process, eliminating manual document work.
How does HOPstack AI work?
Select your client and workstream, then start a new HOP. The platform presents the fields required for that job type. Fill in the details, upload or capture your site photos, and submit. HOPstack automatically populates your client's specific Word and Excel templates and delivers the completed pack — no manual document formatting required.
Can I use it on site?
Yes. HOPstack works via a web portal and a mobile app. The mobile app works offline — capture data and photos on site with no signal, and everything syncs automatically when connectivity returns. You can also save as a draft and finish later, or transfer a HOP to another engineer.
How does payment work?
HOPstack is pay-per-HOP with no subscription. Payment is taken upfront when you start a new HOP, or deducted from pre-purchased credit packs. Pricing varies by workstream type. Contact us for volume or enterprise pricing.
What happens after I submit?
Once submitted, HOPstack strips EXIF data from your images, generates the manifest and populates all Word and Excel templates for that workstream. The completed HOP pack is saved to secure storage and a download link is emailed to your nominated addresses. No human intervention from submission to delivery.
Does it work with my client's templates?
Yes. HOPstack uses your client's actual Word and Excel HOP templates. During onboarding we tag and configure the templates for each workstream, so the output matches exactly what your client expects to receive.
I'm a Tier 1 contractor — can my supply chain use this?
Absolutely. We set up your HOP templates and your subcontractors (T2 and T3) use HOPstack to produce documentation to your exact specification. You get consistent, compliant packs from every team without chasing paperwork.
